Singles Awareness Day
What in the world? Is the point of today? It is probably the fakest, most commercial holiday we have come up with thus far. And yet here I sit, on Valentines Day watching the river of various shades of pink and purple flow by. Although I have noticed something, Valentines day is only enjoyed by people with dates. One year someone will hate Valentines day and the next year, they get a date and they love it. Anyway, I suppose they can have their fun. The rest of us will just stand around and be awkward for a day.

day=Day (line 4, word 10)
day=Day (line 6, word 2) Those are both consistency errors, I wasn't sure whether you wanted Valentines Day or Valentines day so I went with your first use and corrected accordingly.
Additionally, have you noticed that Singles Awareness Day as an acronym is SAD. How pitiful that all those singles are sad on that same day. But the big question is... Were you SAD??
