Good Old Fashion Preaching

Today our pastor was sick so we had a guest come and speak to us. When we heard this, a few freinds and I were slightly dissapointed becuase usually the replacements are slightly dry and uniteresting. Boy were we in for a suprise. RV Brown is one of seventeen kids. He is a bible thumping, Jesus loving, fire and brimstone, heaven and hellfire preacher. And to top it all of, his favorite word: Amen. Here are some of his funniest quotes (taken out of context):

- "If your teenager dosnt go to church, dont feed him."

-"Amen" about 50 thousand times

-"I'll take a bat to preachers."

-at this point I think it would be wise to point out that he was black and he had to white volenteers on the stage, "I would first like to point out that this is like and inside out oreo."

-"The only gray area in life is the smoke you pass throught on the way to hell"

-and my personal favorite was as he was walking off the stage he turned to our vocalist and said, "sing it brother!"

These quotes might put him in a bad light but he had a really good message and let me tell you, he could preach!
