The Word Christian

It has recently come to my attention that the word Christian needs revision. It has become "trite" as my English teacher would say. The word also has many negitive conotation and is overall very vauge. I think when most people hear the word Christian they think of either a fire and brimstone, hevan and hellfire preacher or someone who sits in his congrigaiton and just goes to church on Sunday but is out on the weekends parting and other such activities (nominal Christians that is to say). I have wrestled as follows with what, then, to call myself... and here is what I have come up with: apostle of Christ. Here is how I got there: first I thought about the word disciple, something I cirtainly am. But I decided that was not really the truth either. Because not only am I a follower and a pupil of Christ (diciple), but I am sent by Christ (the meaning of apostle). But when I arrived there I thought that sounded to high an mighty as if I were holier than thou sort of thing. So I settled with the lower case "a" to signify that I was not part or even close to the big twelve. So I dont want you to think that I think that I am someone who thinks I have all the answers... no not at all... talk to a preacher about that. Anyway I thought my position needed clarifying so there you go.

Some mistakes:
Conotation= connotations (word 30)
is=its (word 32)
congrigation=congregation (word 63)
cirtainly= certainly (word 126)
an=and (word 172)
Otherwise great post, I thoroughly enjoyed it an agree completely. That was very insighful of you. It is quite correct that the word Christain needs some revising, or maybe clarification to say the least.
